Johnny Meza is a professional musician, smooth jazz recording artist, bandleader, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist with more than 40 years of experience in music and entertainment.

Johnny began playing drums at age nine, taught himself guitar at age twelve, and later added Hammond organ, piano and keyboards to his musical repertoire. Inspired early in life by The Beatles, Johnny developed into a versatile performer whose musical styles include Smooth Jazz, the Great American Songbook, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Latin, Country and contemporary favorites.

As a recording artist and BMI composer, Johnny achieved national recognition with his original composition “Dirty Martini,” which reached #23 on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Charts. His recordings include The New Standard and Kokopelli, and his music has received radio airplay throughout the United States and internationally.

Johnny has performed extensively throughout California and Las Vegas, including engagements at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage, Bing Crosby's Restaurant, the Idyllwild Jazz Festival, prestigious country clubs, resorts, restaurants, concerts, corporate events and private engagements.

He is also the recipient of five ADDY Awards for his radio and television commercial jingles.
